Blonde Bombshell Wigs

IMG_7284My own journey has been quite the journey and can be a separate post alone . As much as I love wearing my natural hair & curls I really minimize the amount of chemical and heat manipulation I do to my hair. I’ve been craving a change in hair color for some months now and luckily I have wigs to the rescue to help.

Blonde wigs have been my THING lately! I love ombre blonde wigs because they are so gorgeous when the color is on point! I mostly use ombre colors because they give you color and are easy to pull off! I have 2 blonde wigs that I’ve gotten an overwhelming amount of compliments  on that I will share with you today. Both will have full YouTube reviews at the end of this post for you to check out!

The first video below features the Bobbi Boss Misha Wig. It is a lace front wig with synthetic hair fibers. She is a straight hair unit and the blond color (TT6/1010) leans towards the ashier side. The roots of this wig are a dark brown. This hair isn’t super voluminous, which can be a con because you don’t want a thin wig if you have a larger head; nevertheless the look is very sleek. I do have a larger head and I do not mind this density.

The second video features the Zury Sis Slay Olive Wig. This is another synthetic lace front wig. This style has BEAUTIFUL waves to it and lovely volume. Out of the 2 wigs this one is my personal favorite. This blonde color (SOM RT Pearl Blonde) is more creamy compared to Misha and the roots are darker.

Both wigs are heat safe up to 350 degrees fahrenheit. I rarely put heat to synthetic wigs that already have wave or curls. I have used heat tools on straight styles just to sleek them out a little more.

The best benefit is the price! These wigs won’t have you forking over too many coins to look fabulous and are usually available for under $40.

Check out the 2 videos below for more information and an up-close look at these wigs.

xoxo Anissa

Track Pants + Silver Booties

IMG_7159Silver booties were trending on runways shows (remember those Saint Laurent Crystal boots… stunning) so of course we had to take note of this trend for Fall/Winter 2017. While silver boots and booties may seem intimidating at first glance they are not. Rocking silver booties lets people know that you know how to slay your personal style and inspires!

My style tip is to pair them with relaxed pieces from your wardrobe like shift dresses, boyfriend jeans, trousers, or even a track pant. Styling the silver bootie with relaxed pieces will give you a blogger chic look that is alluring and effortless. Finish your look with a cool third piece and simple accessories. Below I’ll tell you how to do this with a track pant.

A track pant is my go-to when I’m on the go and I pulled these out to start my look today. My booties are from Topshop; they look super designer and they are super easy to walk in! While these booties have a lower heel, they don’t skimp on sassiness so they can be worn both day and night. My denim jacket is the perfect boyfriend fit with the perfect wash which makes it a staple for my closet. My finishing touches of course are my MCM crossbody (no longer available) and Celine New Audrey sunglasses. You don’t have to splurge to get the same accessories and I will link dupes to these pieces.

Fit Guide: Topshop shoes run in half sizes only in the US. I’m always in between 9 US and 9.5 US and for these booties the 9.5 US fits well even with the pointy toe. The heel is 3.5 inches.

Shop the look |Shoes: Topshop Hot Toddy Pointy Toe Boot | Pants: Adidas Track Pants (I actually wear the men’s style) |V-Neck T-Shirt| Jacket: BP Denim Trucker Jacket | Bag: MCM Crossbody similar & under $50 option here| Sunglasses: Celine New Audrey info & the Sonix Avalon 57mm is a dupe

Fall & Winter Lipstick Lookbook

Well Fall is in full swing and along with the change in season comes a change in makeup. During each season I love playing with lip color the most, hence the name of the blog.

I had a subscriber requested a video all about Fall lipstick and of course I was thrilled. From my lipstick collection I fished out and also added a shade or two of colors that are PERFECT for Fall & Winter 2017. While I emphasize that these lip colors are perfect for deeper skin tones they are also flattering for lighter skin tones as well. I also have shades that range from neutral to bold. Watch my lookbook below for more details and below the video are all of the links to shop! Enjoy and don’t forget to visit my YouTube channel and subscribe for more fun 🙂
